SCRIPTURES FOR: TEMPTATION

MATTHEW 6:13-15

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.  For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

MATTHEW 26:41

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.  The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

1 CORINTHIANS 10:13

No temptation has has seized you except what is common to man.  And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.  But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

 JAMES 1:13

When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me."  For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone
