Scott Oakley 

My name is Scott Oakley. I was admitted into Genesis Ministries May of 2005. I have had an alcohol problem for 20 years. I never attempted sobriety even though I was raised in a church going Christian family. By the time I considered Genesis I had had 3 DUI’s and my wife of  10 years was ready to take our children and leave. I was suffering from numerous physical aliments directly related to drinking. I had become severely depressed and suicidal. I was diagnosed as a manic depressive with bi-polar tendencies.

I completed phase 1 of the program which was a 6 month in house program. And since that time I have not only been sober but God has restored my family. My wife, children and I now live in Marietta Georgia. We are both involved in Genesis Ministries and we also attend church there.
