SCRIPTURES FOR: LOVE

JOHN 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

1 CORINTHIANS 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is king.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails.

PSALMS 31:16

Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love.

MATTHEW 5:44

Love your neighbor and pray for those who persecute you.

JOHN 14:15

If you love me you will obey my commands.

JOHN 15:2

My commandments say this; love each other as I love you.

MARK 12:31

Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
